Stellar’s tokenized real-world assets now reach a valuation higher than $4,000 million which sets a record for one of the fastest RWA expansions by a Layer 1 network in 2026.
Based on the dashboard by Dune Analytics that Stellar regularly checks, the RWA market’s total value has been pushed to an impressive figure of $3.996billion as of August 29, which is an enormous growth of about 360% from $868.8 million at end-2025.
This is a reflection of rising institutional demand for regulated, yield-bearing instrumenst that can be settled cheaply on these low-fee rails of Stellar.
Top issuers Share a Big Part of issuance
The underlying assets range from U.S. Treasuries, private and public credits to non-U.S. government debt. But there is a high concentration of issuance. In fact, as of August 27, the main issuers are Spiko $1.55billion, Realiz $559million, Tradable $548million, Franklin Templeton $546million and Ondo $535million.
Besides that, XLM also holds roughly $490 million in non-U.S. sovereign debt as of August 29; this includes Mexican CETES and Brazilian bonds issued through Etherfuse per data provided by RWA.xyz.

Tokenization why is It significant
For tokenizing Treasurys and credit, XLM is going against Ethereum, Avalanche and Aptos.. They moved over $11.4B in Q2 2026 with Stellar stablecoin, which was an increase of 72% quarter over quarter.

Funding the growth in Real-World-Assets (RWA) is the main purpose here, as this opens up more opportunities for fintechs, asset managing firms and payment processors to operate with fewer costs.

Future Developments
In May, DTCC revealed that they are going to provide the connection between their tokenization service and Stellar in H12027, which might include tokenized government Treasuries, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and Russell 1000 stock on-chain.

RWA can also help the market to trade up to $1B worth of private credits through a new system. Despite Really it has enjoyed substantial volume expansion, XLM trading now at around $0.18 is 11% down year to date by CoinGecko showing that RWA adoption does not necessarily mean native token strength.
