Lions quarterback Jared Goff appears in a national television commercial for Little Caesars.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff grew up in the Bay Area, where thin crust pizza was popular, but he had enjoyed the rectangular pan pizza with thick, crisp crust.
“I loved it,” Goff exclusively shared. “And when I moved to Detroit and had it there for the first time, I learned that it is called ‘Detroit style.’”
Now he not only knows the term, but he’s also actively promoting it.
When Little Caesars, a Detroit-based company, re-introduced its Detroit-style slices and sticks or cheesy bread, Goff, who has started 82 games and made three Pro Bowls for the Lions, was an obvious choice to star in the nationally-televised commercials.
“He is obviously a superstar in Detroit,” Little Caesars chief of marketing Greg Hamilton said. “This is the perfect way to relaunch this pizza.”
Little Caesars previously served Detroit-style pizza, but it was an entire pizza consisting of eight slices. Goff is reintroducing the Detroit-style individual slices and sticks called Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix, which is meant for one person, from Sept. 7 to Nov. 1.
That individual offering was previously sold in January of 2026 for about eight weeks, and Goff’s frequent target — Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown — appeared in the nationally-televised ads promoting it.
“It was so popular,” Hamilton said, “that we’re bringing it back pretty quickly.”
In addition to Goff and St. Brown, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Cam Jordan, Matthew Stafford and Saquon Barkley have appeared in commercials for Little Caesars, which has been the official pizza of the NFL since 2022.
George Kittle and Justin Jefferson appeared in Little Caesars ads last year and will reprise their roles again.
In Goff’s new commercial, a Seattle Seahawks fan named Donna eats Detroit-style slices and sticks while watching a game in his living room. Chaos ensues — including her TV catching fire — but she is unfazed because she’s so focused on the Little Caesars Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix. Goff narrates the ad before cameras pan to him lounging on a bear-skin rug with his own Detroit-style slices.
“It’s kind of silly. It’s kind of fun,” Goff said. “You kind of get to let your comedic acting skills come out a bit.”
It’s not the first national commercial ad for Goff, who also endorses Old Spice, Abercrombie & Fitch, Ford, Fanatics, Netflix, Panini, Proctor & Gamble and Topps.
Last year he appeared in an amusing Old Spice ad, touting the “greatest smell in the NFL.”
But Little Caesars represents the first pizza campaign for Goff, whose go-to pizza order is pretty simple.
“Pepperoni — all day long,” he said, “just cheese and pepperoni.”
Jared Goff stars in the Little Caesars commercial, which was filmed in July.

His pizza ad was also a day-long affair and shot at a soundstage in Los Angeles on Monday, July 20 during his summer break before training camp began.
Shortly before the shoot, he and his wife celebrated the first birthday of their first child — a daughter named Romy — who was born on July 15, 2025. Friends and family attended.
“(We) had a little backyard party,” Goff said, “nothing crazy.”
Once his teammates learn of his new sponsorship, Goff may be hosting another kind of party.
“We’ll have a pizza party or something,” he said. “We’ll spread it around.”
