Price is what brought most of us to Bitcoin.
We saw the sky-rocketing charts. We saw the promise of getting rich quick.
To be honest, when I started my Bitcoin journey back in 2016, I was obsessed with the price too. I was chasing percentages, green candles, and quick profits.
Like every newbie, I thought I’d simply buy the bottom and sell the top. The truth is, I knew absolutely nothing about what Bitcoin actually meant. Blindly chasing numbers kept me trapped in the old system’s game.
I had to completely rethink what money meant to me.
Waking Up From the Chart-Watching Obsession
The traditional financial system is quietly building a digital gulag.
With the upcoming rollout of the digital euro, control over our savings is about to reach a whole new level.
Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) aren’t a technological innovation. They are a cheap imitation of Bitcoin’s underlying technology.
In fact, it is a step backward toward absolute control by a handful of decision-makers.
Through CBDCs, central banks and governments get to decide whether you can access your own money, where you can spend it, and when it expires or gets frozen.
Did you eat too much meat this month? Did you buy too much gas? Account frozen. Don’t worry, your allowance resets next month.
Simply put, if you need a third party’s permission to move your wealth, that money isn’t yours.
Recognizing the Digital Gulag
With Bitcoin hovering near $85,000, many people are rushing into altcoins and crypto tokens to chase similar gains. They get hooked on slick marketing, fast transactions, and shiny new features.
But all of these projects have founders, corporate offices, and centralized servers. Someone always holds the kill switch. They can be turned off, regulated, or confiscated. They are nothing more than the old system in a shiny new wrapper.
Sooner or later, they will drag you into the exact same digital gulag as CBDCs.
Taking Full Control of Your Wealth
Bitcoin is the only monetary protocol built entirely outside the reach of the state.
It has no single point of failure.
No bureaucrat can halt a transaction. A judge can’t stop it. Neither can a prosecutor, a government, or a central bank.
When you secure it properly on your own hardware wallet, you hold the keys. Not an exchange. Not a bank.
You hold unshakeable financial sovereignty in your hands.
Don’t buy Bitcoin to build a fortune inside the old world.
Master it to step into the new one.
