The token gained around 12% last week and continued higher as traders focused on new ecosystem developments and improving technical indicators.

Recent price action has pushed ADA above its 50-day and 100-day exponential moving averages, which sit near $0.2038 and $0.2029.

The next major technical reference is the 200-day EMA. Depending on the chart source, that level is placed around $0.2401 to $0.2464.

Mastercard Partnership and Leios Testing Support ADA

The Cardano Foundation said on X that it had joined Mastercard’s Crypto Partner Program.

The partnership is focused on cross-border payments, business transactions and stablecoin settlement, adding another enterprise-facing initiative to the Cardano ecosystem.

Cardano’s upcoming Leios upgrade is also attracting attention after recent testing produced around 1,000 transactions per second in simulation.

A Cardano community update said the figure came from Ouroboros Leios testing and added that the upgrade could potentially reach mainnet this year if development continues as planned.

The testing result should not be confused with Cardano’s current mainnet throughput. Real network conditions can involve higher latency, varying bandwidth and more complex peer activity.

Leios is designed to use endorser blocks and parallel processing to increase transaction capacity without simply expanding the main chain.

That technical work coincides with ADA trading above the 20-day Bollinger Band midpoint near $0.2079.

ADA Price Approaches Key Resistance

The upper Bollinger Band sits near $0.2270, making it one of the first near-term resistance levels.

Beyond that, traders are watching the March 29 low around $0.2328 and the 200-day EMA near $0.24–$0.25.

Momentum indicators have also improved. One daily chart placed RSI near 64, while another reading showed RSI around 58.2.

MACD has crossed above its signal line, with the histogram moving into positive territory.

Analyst Jesse Olson said on X that ADA is expected to close the week with a buy signal. He pointed to a reversal candle, an RSI buy signal and green trending dots, adding that reversal signs had been appearing for months.

On the downside, the 50% Fibonacci retracement near $0.2084 is the first support area, followed by the 50-day and 100-day EMAs around $0.2030.

Cardano’s total value locked was reported near $57 million, while open interest stood around $430 million in the latest cited data.

As of the latest readings, ADA remained above short-term support and below the 200-day EMA, leaving the $0.2270–$0.2464 zone as the next key area for price action.
