French companies are deploying agentic computing infrastructure built on NVIDIA technology across industries including space, financial services, retail and public administration, according to announcements published by NVIDIA on October 13, 2026. The implementations span sovereign AI infrastructure, open models and production agent deployments, following compute commitments made at France’s AI Action Summit in February 2025 and Choose France Summits in 2025 and 2026.

Sovereign Infrastructure Expansion

Bull, a France-based server manufacturer, announced plans to extend its European AI server production to NVIDIA Vera Rubin Ultra NVL72 systems, targeted for 2028, with trays produced in Europe and rack integration at its Angers factory, which was inaugurated on October 2, 2026, according to NVIDIA’s October 13 report.

Loft Orbital reported that Altair-1, the first satellite in a planned 50-satellite constellation valued at $1 billion, launched in October 2026 and successfully reached orbit. Built in Abu Dhabi by Orbitworks—a joint venture between Loft Orbital and Marlan Space—the satellite carries NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin edge modules running Mistral models for real-time Earth observation and autonomous operations in orbit, according to the October 13 announcement.

NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin systems were previously reported available through CoreWeave on September 30, 2026, with Cognition running production workloads for its Devin AI software engineer. Vera CPU infrastructure was also announced for agent sandboxes at that time.

Open Models in Sovereign and Regulated Environments

LINAGORA and Docaposte secured the CANUT framework agreement, making Twake.ai—built on NVIDIA Nemotron open models—the sole referenced sovereign digital workplace for more than 2,500 French public organizations, according to the October 13 NVIDIA report.

In financial services, SBS announced it is launching a sovereign platform enabling banks to deploy governed generative and agentic services within their own environments, in collaboration with NVIDIA, according to the October 13 report.

Mistral introduced Mistral Large 4 open model under private preview last week, with performance in cyber defense, manufacturing, finance and multimodal tasks, according to the October 13 announcement. Fondation Inria, with NVIDIA’s support, is launching a working group on open source advanced modeling and tool adoption, with findings expected in spring 2027.

Production Deployments Across Sectors

L’Oréal is integrating NVIDIA ALCHEMI into its research workflows so scientists can explore formulation possibilities computationally to guide laboratory research. The company stated that combining computational predictions with experimentation can make the discovery process up to 100 times faster than traditional methods, according to the October 13 report.

Mirakl reported it has onboarded more than 70 million products with fine-tuned and open models running on NVIDIA GPUs and inference software, reducing seller catalog onboarding to under two hours, according to the announcement.

Omi helps brands integrate accurate products into AI-generated marketing visuals at scale, combining approved 3D digital twins with open models optimized on NVIDIA for four times faster inference, according to the October 13 report.

In Côte-d’Or, ThinkDeep and Akila built a digital-twin agent powered by NVIDIA Cosmos open world models, Nemotron and Omniverse libraries, managing nearly 5,800 kilometers of roads and buildings. The organizations reported cutting total operating costs by 10 percent and targeting 30 percent as deployment progresses. Port Sud de France runs goods processing and port security on ThinkDeep’s DeepBrain platform powered by Nemotron and Cosmos, according to the October 13 announcement.

Bouygues Telecom and Prisme.ai launched AI Studio V2, powered by NVIDIA infrastructure, to offer employees the ability to build agents in a controlled environment, according to the report.

Quantum Computing Integration

Alice & Bob integrated the NVIDIA NVQLink platform for its superconducting cat qubits, demonstrating GPU-accelerated quantum error correction, according to the October 13 announcement. Quandela has been using NVQLink to build an integration between a DGX Spark system and its photonic qubits, advancing QPU-GPU supercomputing and exploring hybrid quantum-classical applications.

NVIDIA announced its Open Agent Safety Platform on September 28, 2026, combining OpenShell runtime policy enforcement with the Sentry reference design running on BlueField-4 DPUs to monitor and constrain agent behavior independently of the model.

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang is scheduled to deliver a keynote at GTC Berlin on October 21, 2026, at 11 a.m. CEST. As of October 13, 2026, at 14:23 UTC, NVIDIA shares traded at $225.84, down 0.21 percent over 24 hours, with a market capitalization of $5.48 trillion.
