Key Takeaways:
- Bitcoin bull Michael Saylor suggested that Strategy will be buying another Bitcoin.
- Currently, Strategy has 848,250 BTC owned, worth approximately $69.45 billion.
- The average price on the Bitcoin that it purchased is $75,444; and the reserve has gained 8.15%.
It’s no surprise that Michael Saylor has reignited rumours regarding a possible Strategy Bitcoin buy after posting, “We found room for more orange” and an updated chart detailing the company’s accumulation history.

Strategy’s Bitcoin Reserve Reaches $69.45 Billion
The current Saylor’s chart pegs Strategy’s stash at about $69,450,000,000 worth of Bitcoin. The company’s distribution price averaged $75,444 per BTC, and the portfolio held a $5.23 billion or 8.15% unrealized profit at the time of the snapshot.
It also shows 118 Bitcoin acquisition deals that Strategy has gone into, showing the building of its holdings over multiple market cycles instead of a single massive buy.
That’s consistent even though Bitcoin has dipped below its average purchase price as well as surged above $100,000.

“More Orange” Signals Another Possible Purchase
Saylor’s message didn’t reveal the amount or cost of the new purchase or the date of the purchase.
“We found room for more orange” was written, however, with the same Bitcoin buying chart from Strategy, which has orange to mark different previous purchases.
However, the post does not say that it is for the next one to be added as it has not been added yet. As of Saylor’s latest chart, 848,250 BTC is still counted as the confirmed balance as there is no official purchase disclosure yet from Strategy.
848,250 BTC Equals More Than 4% of Bitcoin’s Maximum Supply
As of now, Strategy owns about 4.04% of the 21 million Bitcoin that will ever be in existence. Each new sale of Strategy is scrutinised by crypto markets, especially since the Bitcoin supply is finite and production is gradually slowing.
The total acquisition cost of Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings is about $64 billion, at an average price of $75,444. On October 18, the value of the company’s ground-topping Bitcoin holdings stood at $69.45 billion which put the firm in a strong position, despite the price of Bitcoin trading being relatively low on the day.
Strategy Shows No Sign of Ending Its Bitcoin Accumulation
What Saylor is asserting in his latest post is a business strategy the company has been undertaking, and it’s of handling Bitcoin as a main treasury reserve asset. The chart clearly signals that the price of Bitcoins has been a trend of accumulation throughout different bull and bear markets since Strategy’s initial purchase in 2020.
As for now, the new message isn’t confirmation of fresh buying, but rather a signal. Whether or not Saylor’s “more orange” comment came before he added a newly increased, and large, 848,250 BTC holding to the current total of 663,515 BTC will be recorded in the next official disclosure.
