According to reports shared today, Morgan Stanley is making moves to expand its engagements with digital assets while exploring emerging blockchain technologies like stablecoins and tokenization.

Apparently, the move follows the bank’s decision to expand its cryptocurrency operations while exploring how they could be used across its business.

Following its design, the newly built Digital Asset Lab will focus on several areas that include stablecoins, tokenization, and DeFi applications.

With this move, Morgan Stanley will be able to recognize the practical uses for blockchain technology within traditional financial services.
