Ondo [ONDO] tokenization adoption strengthened after the asset crossed one million wallets, but a wider crypto sell-off pushed its price sharply lower.
In particular, the milestone included wallets interacting with Ondo’s tokenized stocks, ETFs, and Treasury products. Therefore, the development expanded market participation across its real-world asset ecosystem.
The milestone, however, arrived during a sharp contraction across the wider crypto market, with roughly $531 million in crypto positions facing liquidations over 24 hours.
Consequently, ONDO price declined 12.09% over the same period, with its price dropping toward the $0.50 level. However, its trading volume climbed 76.48% during the decline.
The trading activity increase suggested traders remained highly active as selling accelerated. The wallet milestone provided a fundamental counterweight to the market-driven weakness.
The divergence left ONDO balancing the improving tokenization adoption against the heavy short-term pressure across the broader crypto market.
Spot demand challenges Futures sellers
Market positioning provided another context to the ONDO’s price decline, as Spot and Futures traders had moved in opposite directions.
Notably, the Spot Taker CVD indicator remained buyer-dominant, suggesting buyers continued absorbing the available ONDO supply during the broader market weakness.
The Futures Taker CVD indicator, however, highlighted seller dominance, revealing a stronger bearish positioning among the participants. That divergence became particularly relevant following ONDO’s double-digit daily price contraction.
Rather than showing uniform selling across markets, these signals reflected disagreement between the leveraged traders and Spot participants.
Therefore, the Spot buyers created some resistance against the Futures-led sell pressure. However, the derivatives sellers could still weigh on price in case the broader weakness persists.

Can ONDO protect its rising trendline?
ONDO’s daily chart, highlighted the price action reflecting that battle as the token surrendered the important $0.5200 level support level. Its broader technical recovery structure remained under examination.
At the time of writing, ONDO traded around $0.5084 after rejecting its recent surge towards the $0.60 ceiling.
The rising trendline, meanwhile, sat below the prevailing market structure, creating another technical area for the bulls to defend.
Additionally, the Parabolic SAR indicator sat lower at $0.4841, keeping the indicator below the current price despite ONDO’s price pullback.
The RSI indicator, on the other hand, cooled to 60.39 after previously entering overbought condition territory. More importantly, it remained above the neutral threshold despite retreating below its 64.74 moving average.
Eventually, a successful defense of the ascending trendline could reopen a $0.5200 reclaim attempt. But losing the prevailing structure could, however, expose the $0.4613 lower support before the recovery gathers momentum again.

Overhead liquidity offers a recovery target
While price contracted, ONDO’s Binance Liquidation Heatmap concentrated more significant liquidity pools above its current trading area.
Notably, several liquidation bands appeared between around the $0.52 and $0.55 regions, with stronger concentrations around 0.535–0.545.
The liquidity below the price, meanwhile, appeared comparatively thinner around the nearest downside areas. The imbalance could become relevant in case the spot buyers stabilize ONDO near its rising support.
A reversal could therefore draw the price towards the $0.52 resistance, where the previous level would again test buyers. Furthermore, a decisive breakout above that barrier could validate ONDO’s path towards the denser liquidation positions around the $0.54 region.
Ondo’s price would, however, first need to defend its trendline and overcome the persistent futures selling. Without these conditions met, the overhead liquidity alone would not guarantee an immediate price rebound.

Final Summary
- ONDO’s one-million-wallet milestone strengthened its tokenization narrative despite the market-wide decline.
- A trendline defense could keep ONDO’s recovery intact, with overhead liquidity near $0.54 remaining the next target.
