Hussein Zangana (Vet) in a recent X post shared highlights from the Korea Blockchain Week happening in Seoul from September 29 to October 1, 2026. The Korea Blockchain Week is Asia’s largest blockchain event, and it kicked off on Tuesday, bringing together industry and technology professionals.

Vet‘s post spotlighted a session from the event where Ripple President Monica Long and Caroline D. Pham, acting CFTC Chair, discussed next steps for tokenization.

When asked if the majority of tokenized volume will be on private or public blockchains, the Ripple President responded, “public,” while also mentioning that the benefits of private blockchains are coming to the XRP Ledger with confidential transfer (XLS-96) and permission delegation (XLS-75).
