Securitize Tokenized Stocks drew attention on Thursday following the company’s creation of digital versions of stocks listed in the United States, which helped push their stock up around 10%. The new product will enable qualified investors to trade tokenized securities with dividend rights.

It is another step towards growth in the area of tokenizing RWAs – the area dedicated to introducing traditional financial products into blockchain platforms. The newly launched product called Securitize Stocks includes Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Tesla, and eight more publicly traded US companies.

As per the statement released by the company, there is a 1:1 ratio between tokens and the underlying stock shares. Trading will take place in the initial stage on the platform of the registered broker-dealer of Securitize and will be available even during the extended market hours.

How Securitize Tokenized Stocks Work on Solana

The Securitize Tokenized Stocks Token Sale is a unique blend of securities laws and blockchain settlement processes. According to the company, the tokens are regarded as security entitlements that fall under Article 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code, which describes the legal rights related to securities.

This process ensures that the rights and privileges of the shareholders continue to exist instead of offering merely exposure to the stock price.

The tokens will then become available through USD Coin (USDC) on Solana, utilizing the technology offered by the blockchain to execute their trades. Jump Trading will offer market-making services to help provide liquidity for the newly minted assets.

At first, trading will be made available for tokenized shares beyond the regular operating hours of the US market. However, Securitize is planning to develop its system to enable 24/7 trading of tokens.

The firm is also looking into utilizing tokenized securities through more platforms. These include platforms that have been created by the New York Stock Exchange and OKXICE. It is yet to be stated when both will be available.

Ripple Prime and Aave Could Expand Securitize Tokenized Stocks

The use of Securitize does not stop there; they have begun to look at ways to integrate tokenized stocks with institutional finance and DeFi.

The Ripple Prime solution will help launch these securities and also look into how these tokens can be integrated into their services, which are meant for institutional customers. However, nothing much else has been disclosed regarding this.

The other platform that has been cited as a possible avenue for the usage of tokenized stocks as collateral is the Aave platform. In case the process is implemented, it will mean that eligible users will be allowed to pledge tokenized stock in a loan arrangement instead of using crypto assets alone.

It is important to note that this use case has not been proven to be active yet.

Such possible integrations will be able to increase the functionality of the Securitize Tokenized Stocks beyond ordinary investing. Through the integration of tokenized stocks with institutions and DeFi platforms, the company tries to find out how traditional finance instruments can be utilized on various blockchain networks.

Securitize Shares Extend Their Weekly Rally

Securitize shares rose nearly 8% on Tuesday after the company announced a partnership with South Korea’s LG CNS to explore tokenized funds, equities and stablecoins for financial institutions. ,

The deal followed a September agreement with Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority to support regulated tokenization projects. According to Yahoo Finance, Securitize shares gained around 54% over the previous month. The launch of Securitize Tokenized Stocks further expands the company’s efforts to bring traditional financial assets onto blockchain networks.

Tokenized Real-World Assets Continue to Expand

The most recent Securitize launch happens amid the growing popularity of tokenized real-world assets among the digital asset community. RWA.xyz reported that the total valuation of distributed tokenized assets, excluding stablecoins, stood at $38.88 billion on Thursday, up from $25.36 billion a year ago.

In addition, tokenized stocks continue to make progress on Solana. Based on the numbers offered, Solana’s tokenized stock market saw approximately $4.4 billion worth of trades in September 2026, while tokenized stocks’ supply amounted to $684 million.

The regulatory landscape may also affect how the industry grows. On September 17, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission issued a temporary five-year exemption to allow for certain kinds of on-chain trades using tokenized US stocks.

SEC exception is limited to certain activities and doesn’t mean that all tokenized stocks are approved. The launch of Securitize Tokenized Stocks on Solana suggests that future development will rely on regulations, integration with Ripple Prime and Aave, and investors’ adoption.
