Solana (SOL) is trading near $103.56 on October 18, following a pullback from recent highs close to $120. The token has recovered from its mid-2026 lows but remains well below its previous peak.

That leaves investors asking whether SOL can regain momentum heading into 2027. The latest weekly candle is down about 6.88%.
Buyers have struggled to hold ground near recent resistance. The longer-term outlook is split.
Standard Chartered expects a recovery to $400 by the end of 2027, according to The Block. That target would mean roughly 286% upside from current levels.
Reaching it would depend on stronger institutional investment, wider blockchain adoption and better market sentiment.
Solana Price Analysis: What the Weekly Chart Shows
Solana’s weekly TradingView chart shows a recovery from the $60–$70 region, followed by a rally toward $120 before sellers regained control. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is 53.16, above the neutral 50 level, and the weekly MACD line is above its signal line. The histogram is small, so momentum is developing but has not yet strengthened.

Support sits at $100, followed by the $80–$90 consolidation area. Resistance is at $115–$120, with $150 in view if SOL breaks above $120–$130. The level to watch next is the weekly close against $100, since a close below it could weaken the recovery outlook.
DefiLlama data shows Solana holds about $5.9 billion in decentralized finance total value locked.
The network also has roughly $15.6 billion in stablecoin market capitalization. Seven-day decentralized exchange trading volume is above $12 billion.

Those figures point to continued network use despite weaker token prices. Rising activity does not automatically lift SOL’s valuation.
Solana Price Prediction: Forecasts for 2027
Geoffrey Kendrick, head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered, projects $400 by the end of 2027. The bank also forecasts $700 in 2028 and $2,000 by 2030.

The forecast rests partly on Solana expanding beyond memecoin trading into stablecoin payments and micropayments. VanEck’s October 2023 research gives a 2030 base case of $335 and a bullish case of $3,211.
In a bullish scenario, SOL trades between $250 and $400 in 2027. That would need stronger ETF inflows, steady adoption and a recovery above $200.
The base scenario puts SOL between $130 and $220, supported by improving DeFi activity and steadier markets. Solana would still face competition from Ethereum and other networks.
The bearish scenario sees $60 to $90, driven by institutional outflows, weaker macro conditions or lower network activity.
Crypto ETF data showed about $12.7 million in net Solana fund outflows on October 16, extending a recent run of withdrawals. SOL last traded near $103.56.
