TL;DR
- Solana’s tokenized real-world asset (RWA) holder base climbed by approximately 109,126 addresses in six days, reaching around 1.7 million as of October 25, according to Blockworks data.
- Tokenized equities accounted for more than 105,000 new holders, making stocks the primary driver of growth across the network’s RWA ecosystem.
- The expansion reinforces Solana’s position as blockchain infrastructure for traditional financial assets, although adoption figures alone do not measure transaction volume or investment value.
Solana’s tokenized real-world asset market continues to attract users, with the number of addresses holding RWAs rising approximately 7% in six days. The increase points to growing interest in blockchain-based access to traditional financial instruments, particularly tokenized stocks, which accounted for most of the latest expansion.
Data tracked by Blockworks shows that Solana added 109,126 RWA-holding addresses, moving from approximately 1.6 million to 1.7 million by October 25. Equities contributed 105,648 additional holders, representing more than 90% of the net increase across tracked asset categories.
This concentration suggests that investors are increasingly exploring on-chain representations of equity exposure. For Solana, the trend strengthens the case for a network designed to support frequent transactions, relatively low fees and applications connecting digital assets with conventional financial markets.
Equities Lead While Other Asset Categories Advance
Growth extended beyond stocks, although other categories recorded substantially smaller gains. Tokenized commodities added 2,969 holders, while credit products gained 393. Government debt increased by 180 holders, and strategies attracted 30 additional addresses during the same period.
Collectibles moved in the opposite direction, losing 94 holders, a decline of approximately 1%. The divergence indicates that demand is not distributed evenly across tokenized assets, with equities accounting for most of the measurable expansion.
The figures also require careful interpretation. A holder address does not necessarily represent a unique individual, since one investor can control multiple wallets. Likewise, an increase in addresses does not automatically translate into higher total value locked, deeper liquidity or greater trading activity.
Even with those limitations, the data provides a useful signal of where interest is developing within Solana’s financial applications. Tokenized securities can offer blockchain-based transfer and settlement, subject to the structure of each product and its applicable legal restrictions.
Solana’s Infrastructure Supports On-Chain Finance
Solana’s broader appeal comes from its capacity to process transactions quickly and at comparatively low cost, features that can support applications serving retail investors. Its established decentralized finance ecosystem also offers potential integration opportunities for tokenized assets, depending on issuer permissions, liquidity and technical compatibility.
However, tokenized stocks are not automatically equivalent to direct ownership of shares. Investors must assess the issuer, redemption terms, custody arrangements and jurisdictional protections before purchasing these products.
