Solana tops blockchain revenue after five months, driven by strong dApp growth, high DEX volume, and sustained network activity.
Solana has returned to the top of the blockchain revenue rankings after a five month gap. Data shared on X showed the network generated the highest daily revenue across all major blockchains on July 18.
The milestone comes as Solana continues to lead crypto dApp revenue and on chain trading activity through 2026. Fresh network data also points to steady user demand despite changes in the broader market.

The ranking placed Solana ahead of Tron, BNB Chain, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Hyperliquid, and other major networks.
Network revenue measures the value generated from blockchain activity. It includes transaction fees, validator tips, MEV income, and other protocol level earnings tied to network usage.
Solana reached the top despite maintaining low transaction costs. High transaction throughput and active decentralized applications continued to drive overall revenue higher than competing chains.
The latest result marks Solana’s first daily revenue lead in nearly five months. It also reinforces a longer trend that has kept the blockchain among the strongest revenue generating crypto networks.

Solana dApps Continue Driving Crypto Network Growth
Larger data indicates that Solana has been the biggest dApp revenue generator for nine quarters running, beginning in early 2024.
In the second quarter of 2026, Solana apps racked up $257 million in revenue.
The number of dApps came in at $292 million in the first quarter, which was an even more impressive number.
Pump.fun contributed about $123 million, while Axiom generated roughly $58 million during that period.
The revenue base remains concentrated. The top eight Solana applications account for about 78% of total dApp revenue across the network.
Trading activity also stayed strong. Solana decentralized exchanges processed about $72.9 billion in trading volume during June 2026.
Jupiter handled roughly $18.7 billion of that total, making it the largest DEX aggregator on the network.

SOL Price, DeFi Activity, and Competitors Remain in Focus
CoinGecko data places the SOL price at $75.96, giving Solana a market capitalization of about $44.25 billion. The cryptocurrency ranks seventh by market value and remains well below its all time high of $293.31.
Network usage has stayed active despite price weakness. In June 2026, Solana decentralized exchanges recorded approximately $72.9 billion in trading volume.
Jupiter accounted for $18.7 billion of it, which makes it the biggest DEX aggregator on the network.
Dollar denominated total value locked moved between roughly $5 billion and higher estimates from different tracking platforms, while SOL denominated TVL reached record levels earlier this year.
Ethereum, Tron, Base, and Hyperliquid continue competing across different sectors of the crypto market.
Tron remains strong in stablecoin transfers, while Base has expanded quickly among Layer 2 networks.
Even so, Solana continues to hold the lead in dApp revenue and has now reclaimed the top position in daily blockchain revenue according to the latest network data.
