This quarter, the Stellar Development Foundation organized a webinar today at 3pm ET and shared with the audience that it would bring senior level leadership online to discuss network performance and the second half of 2025 expectations.

During the live session, Denelle Dixon (CEO), Tomer Weller (Chief Product Officer), Raja Chakraborty (Chief Technology Officer) and Jose Da Ponte (VP of Product) made appearances.

The team talked about the progress made, Mainly the growth of payments, tokenization and developer tools. Stellar, a public blockchain for making payments quickly and inexpensively, has established as an attractive platform for real-world asset and stablecoin issuance.

Though specific metrics for the second quarter could not be announced, the foundation used to emphasize an increase in active accounts and asset issuance as main measures of adoption for institutions and fintechs that are using the network.

Leadership Panel: Strategy and Ecosystem Priorities

Dixon, Da Ponte, Weller, and Chakraborty talked around the strategy for Stellar in connecting protocol enhancements to businesses. They brought up the subject of Soroban smart contracts and compliant tools for regulated assets, and also integrated payment gateway partners.

Clearly the dual presence of product and development leads shows that infrastructure improvements should be turned into products for exchanges, financial custodians, and even traditional financial institutions to comply with ever-changing regulations.

Future of Stellar’s RWA and Payments

In perspective, Stellar is to explain its new product releases for RWA, cross-border payments, and ecosystem incentives. Their roadmap is coming in line with the increasing institutional participation in tokenized assets and blockchain settlement, which is a trend also followed by other blockchains like Ethereum and Polygon.
