REX Shares and Tuttle Capital Management launched the T-REX 2X Long ASST Daily Target ETF on Sept. 18. The fund trades under the ticker ASSX on Cboe.

ASSX seeks to deliver 200% of Strive’s daily stock performance before fees and expenses. It is the first U.S. ETF designed to provide 2x daily long exposure specifically to ASST.

ASSX Gives Traders 2x Daily Exposure to Strive

The fund resets its leverage after every trading session. That means its performance over several days may differ sharply from twice Strive’s return over the same period.

ASSX does not hold Bitcoin and does not attempt to track Bitcoin directly. Its target is the daily movement of Strive common stock.

The fund can use derivatives, including swap agreements, to achieve its leveraged exposure. REX lists a total expense ratio of 1.5%.

A 1% daily decline in ASST would be expected to produce roughly a 2% decline in ASSX before financing costs and expenses. REX also warns that a daily ASST drop of more than 50% could wipe out an investor’s principal.

ASSX ended its first session at $28.27 after opening at $27.78. It traded between $27.22 and $28.70, with reported volume of 123,946 units.

After-hours data later placed ASSX at $28.71. REX and Tuttle already offer leveraged funds linked to Strategy, BitMine, Cipher Mining, Circle and SharpLink.

Strive’s Bitcoin Holdings Reach 25,000 BTC

The new ETF arrives as Strive continues building its Bitcoin treasury. The company reported 25,000 BTC as of Sept. 11.

Strive bought 469 BTC between Sept. 8 and Sept. 11 at an average price of $77,954 per coin. That purchase lifted its holdings from 24,531 BTC.

The company had also purchased 1,375 BTC for about $109 million during the previous reporting week. An earlier late-August purchase added another 1,800 BTC for roughly $143 million.

BitcoinTreasuries.net currently ranks Strive as the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder. It sits behind Strategy, Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet and MARA Holdings.

Strive said cash and cash equivalents stood at $204.2 million in its latest filing. The company also held 505,000 Strategy STRC preferred units valued at about $49.8 million.

CEO Matt Cole said capital used for the latest Bitcoin purchase came from SATA preferred stock. SATA’s regular annual dividend rate remains 13% for periods beginning on or after Oct. 1.

The latest confirmed Strive Bitcoin balance remains 25,000 BTC. Any further additions will require confirmation through a future company or regulatory filing.
