Strive Bitcoin Holdings was at 25,000 BTC by mid-September when the company purchased an additional 469 BTC. The latest purchase is worth around $36.6 million, as disclosed previously. Further purchases have been boosting the Bitcoin reserves.

The most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission has highlighted changes in the balance sheet of the company. Cash and cash equivalents grew from $284.7 million to $310.3 million in the reported week. Strive held 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock.

Treasury expansion for Strive has included both direct purchasing and acquisition of corporations. Strive Bitcoin Holdings has seen a significant increase after the company merged with Semler Scientific in January. It has boosted the company’s reserves by around 5,048 BTC.

What Did Strive Report About Warrants?

Cole exercised around $208 million worth of traditional warrants. The securities are a way for investors to buy common shares at a specified rate before the expiry date. The corporation has not stated how much of the cash was used in the recent Bitcoin acquisition.

As per the filing, shares of underlying outstanding warrants dropped by almost eight million in a week. Around 15.26 million of underlying shares were left as of October 9. It has been stated earlier by the corporation that the exercise price is $27 per share.

On the other hand, Strive Bitcoin holdings have risen since the outstanding common shares have been increased. Class A shares have increased from 91.7 million to approximately 101.2 million. The rise indicates additional equity issuance within the reporting period.

The performance of the treasury of Strive is measured in terms of Bitcoin per diluted share. This metric is dependent upon both cryptocurrency holdings and the number of shares held by the company.

Why Did Strive Change SATA Issuance Terms?

Strive also established a minimum price of $100 for issuing SATA preferred shares. According to Cole, the stipulation had been made mandatory through company rules. This was after an earlier policy issued in March.

SATA is Strive’s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock. Strive employs the security as part of its financial strategy, together with common stock. The proceeds from the issue of preferred shares may be used in Strive Bitcoin holdings and other ventures.

In September, the board of directors of Strive kept SATA’s annual dividend rate at 13% for October. Payments for the month were scheduled at $0.0516 per share each day. Payments are not related to changes in Strive Bitcoin holdings.

How Did the Semler Deal Support Expansion?

The purchase of Semler Scientific during January enhanced Strive’s Bitcoin treasury. The all-share purchase increased the existing cryptocurrency treasure in the newly formed company, whose holdings amounted to approximately 12,798 BTC after the acquisition.

The deal also came with liabilities. In January, Strive revealed that it had repaid about $110 million out of $120 million of the debt acquired from Semler. The company utilized SATA financing and related transactions to repay the debt.

The Strive Bitcoin treasure has since doubled its value from the treasure that it had following the acquisition. However, the latest treasure increase was stated in its October 13 filing without setting any new target for acquisition.

Future acquisitions will be dependent on the company’s capital management policy. The October 13 SEC filing reveals the approximate $84,500 per coin acquisition cost that was not included in the provided draft.
