Uniswap’s UNI burn on Robinhood Chain has almost dried up. Over the past few days, the chain has burned only approximately 4,000 UNI per day. That is the lowest level since the burn mechanism launched on Robinhood Chain. The slowdown is not confined to one chain. Across all chains, daily UNI burns have recently sat between 12,000 and 14,000 tokens. That is an all-time low for the UNI burn.
Robinhood’s activity goes down
Robinhood Chain’s own data shows how quickly things changed. Burns started in late July at roughly 20,000 to 60,000 UNI per day. They cooled to around 20,000 in mid-August, then climbed again from late August. In early September, daily burns exceeded 150,000 UNI, the highest single-day total on the chain.
That peak did not last. Burns fell through September and stayed mostly below 20,000 UNI per day by the end of the month. In the past few days, they dropped to only a few thousand. The chart shows a steady slide, not a sudden crash.
The wider picture is similar. Earlier this year, Ethereum made up most of the burn. Base added a large share in the spring, and Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain added more through the summer. At the busiest points, total daily burns came close to 190,000 UNI. Today’s 12,000 to 14,000 is a small fraction of that.
Trading activity reflects the trend
The burn appears to follow trading activity on Uniswap. When fewer people trade tokens, less is burned. The drop on Robinhood Chain indicates that activity there has cooled considerably since its September peak. The data does not show why, so any cause is speculation for now.
This matters for UNI holders because burning reduces the token supply. A weaker burn means less supply is removed every day. It does not say anything about price by itself, and the market has many other factors. For now, the key number to watch is the multi-chain daily total. If it remains near 12,000 to 14,000 UNI, the burn will continue running at its lowest pace on record. A pickup in Robinhood Chain trading could be the clearest signal of a turnaround.
