Uniswap v4 has processed more than $44 billion in trading volume over the past 30 days, accounting for nearly half of all Uniswap Protocol activity. The milestone highlights growing usage of the decentralized exchange as the UNI price faces resistance near $10. Crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal identified a large rectangle pattern on UNI’s daily chart, with the price pulling back toward $7.40 after a recent rejection. The combination of protocol activity and price consolidation puts Uniswap’s adoption and UNI’s next move in focus.
Uniswap v4 Captures Nearly Half of Protocol Volume
According to Uniswap, nearly half of all trading volume across the protocol now runs through v4. The version processed more than $44 billion in activity over the past 30 days, highlighting its growing role in decentralized finance.
Uniswap v4 introduced a customizable architecture built around hooks, allowing developers to modify liquidity pool behavior and introduce additional features. This flexibility supports the development of new trading strategies and applications across the ecosystem.

The reported volume highlights substantial activity on v4. However, trading volume alone does not establish how much new capital entered the ecosystem or whether the growth directly increases demand for UNI.

Protocol Growth Puts UNI Demand in Focus
The $44 billion milestone strengthens Uniswap’s adoption narrative as decentralized exchanges compete for liquidity and traders. Sustained activity can help attract developers, liquidity providers, and users to the protocol.
However, increased protocol usage will not necessarily result in higher prices for UNI. This is dependent on market sentiment, investor position, and the link between protocol usage and demand for tokens.
The trading volume of UNI, open interest, and capital inflows would serve as further confirmation of market interest. In their absence, however, the v4 volume reported is the most reliable data available.
UNI Price Rests at $7.40 After Rejection at $10
Crypto With Gopal noted that a big rectangular formation could be seen in the daily chart of UNI. It seems that there is resistance at $10, while lower support can be observed near $7.40 in recent days.
$10 becomes the first barrier for bulls, and a break of this level will suggest a continuation of an uptrend, which may see the price move towards $20.

However, $7.40 is a significant short-term level to pay attention to. A breach of this area may lead to more losses for UNI, but other support levels need to be confirmed on the chart.
At the same time, the price range of $2–$3 is highlighted as key long-term support. This is just a general price area and not a short-term price target.
Crypto With Gopal Identifies $20 as a Potential Target
With Crypto Gopal, it is stated that reclaiming $10 would lead to opening the way to $20. It is dependent on UNI breaking above the rectangle formation and holding buying pressure.
Further rejection at $10 will allow the token to stay within its current channel. A break below $7.40 will make the short-term structure weaker and raise the chance for a stronger decline.
The $20 target is still just a conditional projection from the analysts and not something that will definitely happen. The trading on Uniswap helps provide an ecosystem context but does not prove any breakout.
What Comes Next for UNI?
The next thing that will have to be tracked is whether Uniswap v4 retains its proportion of protocol volume. This could bolster the case for adoption, while subsequent monthly numbers would show whether the momentum can be sustained.
For UNI, the first priority is still the $7.40 support level and the $10 resistance. The breaking out of resistance is a positive sign, while the breaking out of support would be negative for the technical analysis.
The monthly volume of $44 billion of Uniswap v4 protocol shows increased activity, but UNI is still technically at a fork in the road. Continued adoption will help strengthen the protocol’s position, but a break above the $10 level would increase the chances of reaching $20.
