Solana is expanding into payments, tokenized stocks and institutional custody, but Solana price is still struggling to extend its recent rally. Samsung Wallet’s planned USDC transfers and Solana’s faster block-production target strengthen the network’s adoption story. However, SOL price has pulled back from its recent highs and is testing support near $110. Can growing institutional use help SOL recover, or will sellers push the price lower before the next rally?
Samsung Wallet and Tokenized Stocks Expand Solana’s Reach
Samsung plans to integrate USDC transfers into Samsung Wallet for eligible U.S. Galaxy users, with the feature scheduled to launch in the last week of October. The service is designed to support cross-border payments through compatible wallets and bank accounts in more than 60 countries, bringing Solana-based stablecoin transfers into an existing consumer payments app.
Institutional adoption is also expanding. Securitize launched tokenized U.S. stocks on Solana, allowing eligible investors to access blockchain-based representations of shares. Meanwhile, BNY expanded its digital-asset custody offering to the European Union under MiCA, including support for SOL, according to the developments listed in the Solana update.
Solana has also completed its SIMD-0525 upgrade, reducing its target slot time from 400 milliseconds to 200 milliseconds. This increases the frequency of block production, although it does not automatically double the network’s overall transaction capacity.
These developments strengthen Solana’s payments, trading and institutional infrastructure. Their impact on SOL’s price, however, will depend on whether adoption translates into sustained network activity and demand for the token.
Solana Price Analysis: Can SOL Hold $110 Support?
SOL price has retreated from its recent rally toward $130 and is now testing the $110–$112 area. This zone is critical for maintaining the recovery structure. If buyers defend support and reclaim nearby resistance around $120, SOL could attempt another move toward $125–$130.

A sustained break below $110 would weaken the setup and put the moving-average region near $97–$100 in focus. The RSI appears below the neutral 50 level, indicating that bullish momentum has cooled. A recovery above 50 would strengthen the case for renewed upside, while continued weakness could prolong the correction.
Further ahead, the $145–$150 region remains a major supply zone where sellers could emerge. SOL would need to rebuild momentum and clear intermediate resistance before that area becomes a realistic near-term target.
Final Words
Solana’s latest developments strengthen its position in stablecoin payments, tokenized equities and institutional services. But SOL still needs to hold $110 and reclaim $120 to improve its short-term technical outlook. A breakdown could expose $97–$100, while a successful recovery could bring $125–$130 into view. The next directional signal is whether buyers can defend $110 and restore momentum above $120.
