Bybit expanded its real-world asset offering on Thursday, August 27, 2026, by listing nOPAL, a tokenized Brazilian credit strategy for eligible users. The product uses USDC on RWA Earn and carries a 500-USDC minimum investment.

According to a report, the strategy is managed using a Plume network vault by BlackOpal Finance. The offering is secured by credit card receivables in Brazil. The merchants receive advance funding of future payments at a discount.

What Supports nOPAL’s Yield and Daily Redemptions?

BlackOpal acquires the receivables at prices lower than the expected settlement price. Visa and Mastercard handle the payments subsequently. The difference between acquisition costs and the price at which settlement takes place allows for profits.

This approach has accumulated more than 7,000 receivables since November 2025, as stated by the manager. It had no default and credit losses.

BlackOpal had more than $70 million in total value locked in August 2026. At this time, the 30-day rolling yield was around 12%. Previous performances cannot be considered guarantees for future gains.

Brazilian real pricing exposes the investment to foreign-exchange risks for investors using the dollar. nOPAL mitigates the BRL/USD exchange rate risks via non-deliverable forwards.

The platform owns USDC, nTBILL, and cash that help with withdrawals. Bybit handles redemption requests every day. It takes 1-5 business days to settle.

Bybit Broadens Its Tokenized Asset Portfolio

Eligible users have to commit at least 500 USDC. According to the exchange, RWA Earn products do not safeguard investors’ principal. It also warns that past annual percentage rates do not guarantee future performance.

The extension adds to Bybit’s portfolio options for trading outside of spot and derivatives. Users can trade a tokenized strategy, which is based on Brazilian receivables rather than cryptocurrencies. The product is available only for eligible users.

This listing takes place amid the platform’s growing digital-asset offerings and stablecoin services. In June, the CEO of Bybit, Ben Zhou, had a meeting with Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister, Nguyễn Văn Thắng, in Hanoi. The discussion revolved around Vietnam’s pilot scheme for digital assets.

The discussion was about compliance standards and market supervision. Vietnam also has a framework that establishes capital adequacy, cybersecurity, and compliance experience.

How USDPT and nOPAL Expand Bybit’s Product Range

During the same period, Bybit introduced USDPT to its platform. USDPT is a US dollar-denominated stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank on Solana. Some users in Latin America were able to trade it using the fiat capabilities of the exchange.

USDPT does not have any direct correlation with nOPAL. Both developments represent an overall trend towards stablecoins and tokenized financial instruments in addition to the trading services offered by the company.

The reported yield and TVL represent a current snapshot of the activity. They do not remove the risks related to merchant payments, currency changes, and liquidity available for withdrawal.

By adding nOPAL to the list of assets under Bybit’s RWA Earn program, the company provides an opportunity for investors to invest in Brazilian credits tokenized in crypto.

Investors should examine the underlying receivables, currency hedge, and redemption terms before committing capital.
