Webull Corporation Revenue Jumps 51% as Trading Activity Accelerates
Webull’s second-quarter revenue increased 51% year over year to a company record of $198.8 million. Trading-related revenue climbed 66% from the previous year and reached $147.7 million. Meanwhile, stronger customer activity helped trading volumes reach new quarterly highs across several product categories.
Equity notional volume increased 73% year over year to $279 billion during the quarter. Options contract volume reached 213 million, representing a 68% increase from the previous year’s period. Daily average revenue trades also rose 62% year over year to approximately 1.6 million.
Webull linked stronger activity to updated functionality introduced after the June 4 removal of Pattern Day Trader restrictions. The platform adjusted its active trader tools for eligible customers under the new trading environment. At the same time, product expansion supported higher engagement across equities, options, futures, and other trading services.
Webull Net Income Reaches $24.4M as Profitability Improves
Webull reported $24.4 million in attributable net income for the second quarter. That result reversed a $28.3 million net loss recorded during the comparable period last year. Income before taxes also reached $34.7 million, compared with a $21.4 million loss previously.
Adjusted net income increased to $43.2 million from $15.4 million in the year-ago quarter. Adjusted operating profit rose to $62.6 million, compared with $23.3 million one year earlier. The company’s adjusted operating margin reached 31.5% during the quarter.
Total operating expenses rose 13% as brokerage costs and transaction expenses increased with trading volumes. However, revenue growth remained much faster than the increase in total operating costs. During the quarter, Webull also repurchased 1.82 million Class A shares at an average $6.03 price.
Customer Assets Rise 79% as Webull Expands Global Business
Customer assets reached $28.5 billion at quarter-end, representing 79% year-over-year growth. Registered users increased 13% to 28.2 million, while funded accounts rose 8% to 5.13 million. Net deposits also increased 7% from the same quarter last year.
Webull continued its international expansion by launching operations in Spain, Argentina, and Colombia. The company now holds licenses across 35 markets and conducts trading activities in 18 markets. International funded accounts reached approximately 810,000 as Webull expanded beyond its core United States operations.
The company also announced its acquisition of Pi Securities in Thailand to strengthen its Asia-Pacific presence. Customer assets across that region now exceed $5 billion, providing a larger base for future services. Webull also expanded institutional offerings through futures, prediction markets, and access to selected late-stage private companies.
