A traditional large corporate fund is landing on Ripple’s XRP Ledger thanks to Aviva’s new Sterling Liquidity Fund, amassing roughly £22 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). According to the latest data readings, Aviva Investors have £479 billion in cumulative assets under management.
British Insurance Fund Enters XRP Chain
That’s a high level of industrial appreciation even for the XRP parenting Ripple Labs, a company that’s processing trillions in cross-border payments yearly. The British insurance behemoth Aviva was founded back in 2000. This marks the second tokenisation of an existing Aviva fund, following a tokenised share class bid for the firm’s USD Liquidity Fund back in July 2026.

Aviva Investors manages £273 billion out of the £479 billion pie, enabling traditional investors to access blockchain-based capabilities, targeting low-risk returns along with solid daily liquidity by offering investors exposure to high-grade UK Sterling-denominated short-term debt instruments. This new share class launch is supported by two parties, a custodian and infrastructure provider.
For that matter, Komainu & Licuido are the partners named in the official press release, calling the choice of Ripple’s XRP Ledger an “energy-efficient format” due to XRP Ledger’s cheap transaction cost, fast processing windows & a seamless way to issue & regularly manage the minted tokens. All assets held by the fund’s legal custodian, The Bank of New York Mellon.
What XRP’s Native Chain Gains From This
Since 2012, XRP’s native chain has processed more than 4 billion transactions, netted nearly 8 million active wallets while being maintained by around 130 independent validators, including universities, healthcare institutions & big-time corporations. In the present days, XRP garners roughly $3 billion in daily trading volume.
An addition of such a magnitude partner like Aviva Investors gives XRP’s native chain a great reason to lift the trading volumes back to $5-6 billion a day, like it was during the late 2025 bull rally. With XRP’s price currently retesting the lower boundary of the $1.28 to $1.35 key demand bubble, trading volume is what bulls rely on.
